3D models
Attaching a GLB, GLTF or USDZ model and viewing it interactively.

An item can carry a 3D model in GLB, GLTF or USDZ format. It appears in an interactive viewer on the item's page, which visitors can rotate and zoom.
- 1Open the item and find the 3D model area.
- 2Upload the model file.
- 3Give it a name, so the record says what the model actually shows rather than just naming a file.
If you share the item through a gateway link, you can choose whether the model is included — see Share links. It is off unless you allow it.
Tip
Recent iPhones and iPads can produce a usable USDZ scan of a physical object in a couple of minutes. For sculpture, furniture and anything whose shape is the point, it communicates far more than photographs.
