A chat that can see your vault: asking questions, attaching images, memory, and message limits.

The AI assistant is a chat that knows what is in your vault. Rather than searching for something yourself, you can ask — which of my items have no receipt, what should I insure first, how should I categorise this.
Asking something
- 1Open AI Assistant in the sidebar.
- 2Press New chat, or continue an earlier one from the list on the left.
- 3Type your question and send it.
Suggested prompts appear on an empty chat — organising your vault, finding your most valuable items, preparing for insurance, sorting out categories. They are a good way to see what the assistant is useful for.
Attaching images
Press the attach button to add photos to a message — useful for what is this, or for asking about a mark, a signature or a piece of damage. There is a limit on how many images one message may carry, and the composer tells you what it is.
Memory
- Memory on
- The assistant remembers context from your earlier chats, so you do not have to explain your collection again each time.
- Memory off
- Each chat starts blank. Better when you want an answer uninfluenced by anything you said before.
- Temporary chat
- A conversation that is not kept at all. Use it for a one-off question you do not want in your history.
How long chats are kept
In the assistant's settings, Delete chats after can be set to 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, a custom number of days or hours, or never. Individual chats can also be renamed and deleted by hand.

The remaining count is shown in the composer, with a warning as you approach the limit. Limits reset monthly.
Important
The assistant can be wrong, and a disclaimer under the chat says so. Treat valuations, authenticity opinions and legal or tax statements as a starting point to verify, never as a conclusion.
