Collections
Free-form groups of items that ignore categories — for a project, an exhibition, or a set you want to share.
1 min read
A category says what an item is. A collection says what it is part of. An item has one category but can be in any number of collections — Insured 2027, Gallery show, Client review set.
Collections are also the natural unit of sharing: one link publishes a whole collection.
Creating a collection
- 1Open Collections in the sidebar.
- 2Press New collection.
- 3Give it a name, an optional description, an icon and a colour.
- 4Save.
Adding items
Open the collection. It has three tabs:
- Items
- What is already in the collection, in its arranged order.
- Add items
- Browse or search your library and add. Filter by category or condition while you pick.
- Browse all
- The whole library, for when you are not sure what you are looking for.
Ordering
Collections support a custom order, so the sequence a visitor sees on a shared link is the one you chose. Drag to arrange.
Deleting a collection
Deleting a collection deletes only the grouping. The items stay in your library, untouched.
Note
If a share link points at a collection, deleting the collection breaks that link. Revoke the share first if anybody is relying on it.
