Sign up with an email address or with Google, and what each field means.

Accounts are free and no card is required. A free account is not a trial that expires — it stays free, with lower limits.
Sign up with an email address
- 1Go to elvoaq.com/signup. You can also reach it from Get Started in the top-right of the homepage.
- 2Enter your first name and last name. These appear on shared items, comments and business cards, and you can change them later in Settings.
- 3Enter your email address. This becomes your login, and the address where verification, password resets, invoices and notifications are sent. Use one you will keep.
- 4Choose a password. It must be at least 8 characters and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. A strength meter under the field shows Weak, Fair, Good or Strong as you type.
- 5Repeat it in Confirm password. If the two do not match, the form says so before it submits.
- 6Tick the box confirming that you accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and that you are 18 or older.
- 7Complete the anti-bot check if one appears. It usually verifies you silently; if it shows an error, use the reload link next to it.
- 8Press Create account.
You are signed in straight away and a verification email is sent. Some features stay locked until you confirm the address — see Verify your email address.
Sign up with Google
- 1On the sign-up page, press Continue with Google.
- 2A Google window opens. Pick the account you want to use and approve the request.
- 3The window closes and you land in your new vault.
Both windows show the progress of the sign-in while it happens, so a slow network looks like a slow step rather than a frozen page. Google accounts skip email verification, because Google has already confirmed the address.
Tip
Signed up with Google but want a password too — for example so you can sign in when Google is blocked? Use Forgot password on the login page with the same address. The email that arrives lets you set a first password on the Google account.
Sign up with Apple
Continue with Apple appears on the sign-in and sign-up pages wherever it is enabled. It behaves exactly like Google: approve in the Apple sheet, and you are returned signed in. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, ELVOAQ receives the relay address, and mail sent to it still reaches you.
If sign-up fails
›“An account with this email already exists”
You have signed up before. Go to the login page and sign in, or use Forgot password to reset it.
›“Please fill in all fields”
One of the required fields is empty. Required fields are first name, last name, email, password and password confirmation.
›The password is rejected even though it looks long enough
Length alone is not enough. Add an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a digit and a special character such as ! ? # or -.
›A network error appears
The app could not reach the server. Check your connection, then look at elvoaq.com/status to see whether the platform itself is having trouble.
