Workspaces
Separate vaults inside one account — personal and organisation — and how to switch and convert them.
1 min read
A workspace is a complete, separate vault: its own items, categories, collections and members. Use them when two sets of things should never mix — your household inventory and your company's equipment, for instance.
Switching workspace
Use the workspace switcher in the top bar. Everything on screen — library, dashboard, categories, accounting — belongs to the active workspace.
Important
Most reports of “my items disappeared” are the wrong workspace being active. Check the switcher first.
Creating a workspace
- 1Open Workspaces in the sidebar.
- 2Press Create new.
- 3Choose the type: a personal workspace, or an organisation workspace.
- 4Give it a name and an optional description.
- 5Press Create.
Personal versus organisation
- Personal workspace
- Just you. Full item management, categories, AI categorisation and the analytics dashboard.
- Organisation workspace
- Everything a personal workspace has, plus invited members, role-based permissions, teams and the audit trail.
Converting a personal workspace to an organisation
You do not have to start again. Open the workspace and choose Convert to organisation. Items, categories and history are kept exactly as they are; what is added is the ability to invite people, assign roles and create teams.
How many you can have
| Plan | Workspaces | Members per workspace |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 1 |
| Starter | 2 | 1 |
| Collector | 5 | 3 |
| Pro | 15 | 10 |
| Business | Unlimited | 25 |
| Ultimate | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Deleting a workspace
Important
Deleting a workspace deletes everything inside it — items, photos, files, history. It cannot be undone, and you cannot delete your last remaining workspace. Export the data first if there is any doubt.
